Norus Regnskap is a mid-sized Norwegian accounting firm serving 800+ small and mid-market businesses. They partnered with Coprus to replace a stalled internal platform rebuild and ship the software their accountants use every day.

Challenge

Norus Regnskap had been trying to modernise its client-facing platform and presentation site for close to a year. The internal rebuild had grown into a sprawling backlog with more than 400 requirements, and the team was losing ground to smaller, faster competitors.

Visitors landed on an aging marketing site that under-represented the firm. Conversion from visitor to booked call was low, and the leadership team had no reliable way to tell what was working and what was not.

The firm needed a partner that would cut scope hard, ship a version their accountants and their clients could actually use, and prove the value before committing to a larger rewrite.

Coprus reduced the backlog to the two outcomes that actually moved the business: a sharp, conversion-focused presentation site and a lean internal portal for the accounting team.

Working directly with the leadership team, we removed work that did not earn its place, rebuilt the brand surface on a modern stack, and instrumented the funnel end-to-end so Norus could see what visitors did and where they dropped off.

The first production release landed six weeks after kickoff. Subsequent improvements shipped in tight iterations, each driven by real usage from accountants and real traffic from prospects.

Results

A focused release that moved the numbers within a quarter

Within three months of launch, the new Norus Regnskap site was driving materially more traffic from target clients, and the new enquiry flow was converting a larger share of that traffic into qualified conversations.

The internal portal gave the accounting team a single place to work with clients, which cut duplicate data entry and made it easier for leadership to see where effort was going.

Norus now iterates on the platform continuously with Coprus, with each release grounded in real usage rather than the long wish-list of the original rebuild.
